The gaming companies are doing so well at Kickstarter. Successes are coming from places that, I safely predict, mainstream press would not have expected and show the size of the RPG community.
Reaper Miniatures have just become the 10th company to hit $1,000,000 on Kickstarter.
Their campaign, to fun a range of Bones minis has over 5,000 backers and 5 days left to run (at the time of posting).
For pledging money at the lowest levels gamers get hanks and badges; once they hit $15 then backers start to get packs of tabletop gaming miniatures. Reaper Minis have done a great job of keeping up with stretch goals but Kickstarter page is almost overloaded with updates.
