The Rancor monster was unfortunate enough to have Luke Skywalker, in Jedi mode, dropped into his pit by the evil Jabba the Hutt in Return of the Jedi. He’s been a fan favourite ever since.
Step forward the awesome 501st Legion. These are the guys (and gals) responsible for some of the best Stormtrooper armour builds since the movie and some mashups worthy of blog attention everywhere.
For the Star Wars Celebration, to be held in Orlando, Florida, this year they’ve gone one better and created a Rancor model of their own. The video above shows how it was built. The images below shows the finished version.
