Imagine the situation. You have to recap the Lord of the Rings. All of it – but, thankfully not the Hobbit – and you only have 99 seconds do it!
On top of that challenge your audience isn’t really interested. They have a low attention span. You’re going to need to jazz it up, while remaining faithful to the plot, in order to keep their attention. There’s another bit of good news, you’re allowed to consider the Lord of the Rings as a film so you can avoid the complexity of describing what a book is to your audience.
