Extreme weather, is this TV from a gaming world?

Weatherman Aaron Justus keeps a straight face as he concludes the week weather forecast for Richmond, VA.

This is the sort of weather that wouldn’t surprise some of the gamers I know. Although these gamers would point out that the sound barrier becomes an issue at about 768mph.

I nosed around, Aaron Justus has an aborted Twitter account and a LinkedIn. Hard to tell whether this clip is from a spoof channel or whether a real channel ran the joke. I rather hope it was the latter.
