The last time Geek Native reported on a Kickstarter that featured tentacles and girls – it was to report that the crowd funding king had cancelled Tentacle Bento. Why? The hentai was too strong.
So, with that in mind, let’s take a look at the icon for The Doom That Came to Atlantic City.
Ah yes.
But wait; there’s a big difference. These aren’t hentai tentacles. These are are tentacles from beyond time and space – they are from the horror of Monopoly, whoops, sorry, they’re from the alien horror of the Cthulhu mythos.

It seems unlikely that Kickstarter will cancel this one. It’s an entirely different game. The Doom That Came to Atlantic City… is coming. At the time of posting, with 11 days to go, the board game has raised $76,000+ of the $35,000 the team asks for.
It’s a good team who’ve put together a twisty game. You are one of the Great Old Ones in this game… but you’re not alone. There are other Great Old Ones kicking around and they’re out to steal your cultists.
