When I write that Pingu does The Thing – I mean that he remakes John Carpenter’s The Thing. I’m sure Pingu can do many things.
Pingu, of course, is an animated putty penguin. John Carpenter’s The Thing is a classic, important but rather gory horror encounter. In fact, The Thing’s gore only sometimes creeps into the cheesy category and – for me, at least – lingers on “eww” on quite a few occasions.
