Doctor Who Christmas Special 2011: The Sneak Peak

Tomorrow is a Children in Need day in the UK. As usual BBC One is geared up with plenty of coverage and we’ll be getting the traditional Doctor Who sneak peak.

It’s expected we’ll get interviews with Steven Moffat and Matt Smith as well as other members of the cast and crew. It’s also expected we’ll get a teaser trailer too. Hopefully it’ll be longer than the micros that promoted the last season.

The BBC website has published this wallpaper teaser image from the Christmas Special too. It shows the Doctor legging it down a corridor – hard to tell whether that’s a spaceship for sure – with an explosion behind him. The light in front must surely come from his sonic screwdriver.
