Kielnhofer’s ghost car and timeguards

I’m not sure how, when or even why it happened but this blogger appears to be on the PR email list for a significant Austrian Swiss? art event. Right now, Art Basel is on and will attract visitors and artists from all over the world.

A photo in their email news brief caught my eye. It seems to be called “Ghost car” and I think a couple of ghosts chilling out outside Art Basel would be a good way to catch a lot of people’s attention.

The art can be traced back to Manfred Kielnhofer and a project called TimeGuards/SpiritGuards. There’s a sample below but if you’re feeling arty then it’s worth checking out the whole site. Also, is it just me… or do some of these photographs give off a Doctor Who vibe?
