Ride in your very own Dalek

Ever fancied travelling around inside your very own Dalek? Not sure it can happen. However, if you’re able to live your life via your kids – then, well, here’s a happy surprise.

The BBC have licensed a battery powered, 128cm tall dalek that drives around, blinks with lights and makes 10 dalek sounds. Who has this honour? A supplier called Zappies.

A quick glance at YouTube shows that the video has had loads of views. At this point over 80,000 which includes more than 6,000 from Facebook, 6,000 from Io9 and over 4,000 plays from mobile devices. Suggests there’s no shortage of interest.
